The intake pit has a fixed width of 3.5 meters and the length can easily be increased in steps of 0.5 meters. The 3.5-meter width and a smooth interior minimizes the need for cleaning. Its design allows for easy assembly with screw-fastened, labeled plates. The intake pit is available in two variants, drive over with grates welded at Skandia Elevator and walk over with gratings. Optional features include an empty-level sensor and side protection for enhanced safety and efficiency.
