Training on the new Machinery Regulation

Skandia Elevator has welcomed a representative from JL Safety for a training session on the new requirements that will apply when the Machinery Directive is replaced by the Machinery Regulation in 2027.

The new Machinery Regulation is introduced to address developments such as AI, connected machines and cybersecurity. It replaces the Machinery Directive from 2006 and establishes a more harmonized framework that applies directly across all EU member states.

To continue CE marking our products in line with the new requirements, we stay up to date with changes in legislation and safety standards – both for our machine solutions and Grain Cloud – ensuring that our solutions meet future demands for safe and efficient grain handling.
