When Magnus Karlsson at Håbergs Estate, located outside Grästorp, wanted to future-proof his grain handling, the result was a cutting-edge turnkey solution.

In just six months during 2023, one of western Sweden’s largest on-farm drying facilities was built, with nearly 10,000 cubic meters of storage capacity. The project was characterized by close communication and collaboration between the customer, the dealer Tornum, and the supplier — ensuring a fast and efficient construction process.

Skandia Elevator delivered locally manufactured elevators and conveyors from the H- Line series, along with the digital system Grain Cloud, which includes:

• Grain Control Flow, simplifying daily silo planning, transport scheduling, and grain storage.
• Grain Watch for temperature monitoring.
• Grain Balance for weighing — together providing full control of grain flows via computer and mobile

Through a long-term and close collaboration, the solution has been continuously adapted to Håbergs’ needs, serving as a clear example of the cooperative model applied by Skandia Elevator and its dealer.

The new facility is also future-proofed with expansion potential and can serve as an emergency storage unit, making it a secure investment for Håbergs Estate and the continued development of modern agriculture.
