Mertoun Estate Farms Ltd in Maxton, Melrose Roxburghshire, has been using Skandia Elevator equipment since 2012, with further additions made in 2016 through dealer DMI Mechanical Engineers Ltd, Kelso. The facility features an I-Line system with a capacity of 80 t/h and 7,000 tonnes of floor storage. Handling wheat, barley, oilseed rape and oats, the installation includes 11 machines, such as KTIG 30/40, SEI50/18, KTIF 30/33 and KTIBU 30/33, ensuring efficient and reliable grain handling across operations.
